As one of the world’s most successful manufacturers of home appliances, Samsung was looking for an original way to help increase sales and reduce buyer returns of its products through Lowe’s and other major retailers.
Strategy
Working with Samsung’s omni-channel marketing team, Modern Impact created a simple, instructive, retailer-agnostic video that showed consumers how to measure the space in their kitchens to ensure appliances they chose would fit properly – and then how to prepare their homes for quick installation.
Solution
Our video showcased Samsung’s latest Family Hub black stainless-steel refrigerator and leveraged both live-action and sophisticated illustration to provide an engaging “how-to” that could be re-branded for other retailers and utilized across all client/retailer marketing assets – including digital, mobile and in-store.
Results
In addition to achieving the goals outlined at the onset – such as reducing Lowe’s return costs – this video also became the top-viewed asset on Samsung.com.
